Spring Bakers Against Racism Bake Sale Report

My spring Bakers Against Racism bake sale was a huge success! I spent all day baking on Saturday and have heard from many happy customers since then!

In total, I sold 14 dozen cookies for $8 each and 8 quarts of crackers for $5 each. Some of you generously donated extra money, bringing our total donations to $172!

I split this amount evenly between the Asian Pacific Environmental Network and Stop AAPI Hate, with $86 plus fees going toward each organization. My receipts are below!

After hearing about the recent killing of Daunte Wright (and witnessing the lack of non-Black outcry in response to this situation), it is obvious that we still have a long way to go in fighting racism in our country. I plan to continue doing Bakers Against Racism bake sales every few months to support anti-racism organizations in their missions to end violence, injustice, hate and bias against all people of color.

Let me know which baked goods you'd like to see in my next bake sale!
