About Sustained Kitchen

Hi, my name is Molly.

On this blog I post easy and delicious vegetarian and vegan recipes, drool-worthy food photography and writings about intersectional sustainability. Basically, I teach you how to be a good world citizen, cook like a tree hugger AND make bomb food.

I made this blog because sustainability is super important. To me, “sustainability” means creating the best possible conditions for the longevity of our Earth, ourselves and our neighbors (no matter their race, gender, color, creed, sexual orientation or ability).

Right now, many of our food systems are not operating with this mission in mind. Corporations are polluting minority neighborhoods, politicians aren’t creating meaningful policies and individuals are eating like we’re not in a climate crisis.

But don’t fear — we can shift these trends with a few changed habits and plenty of calls to our representatives. So stay a while! Learn some stuff, bake some stuff and change the world one misshapen tomato at a time.
